Christmas at the Barn

These neat images are from a 1951 Calendar that was in Barntiques.

I was just in Barntiques starting to pack up some of our vintage Christmas merchandise. This neat 1951 calendar from Larew Plumbing and Heating Company of Iowa City was left behind. I just love the image on the front of the old vintage pickup and the red barn in the background. Wow 1951... just think that calendar is 50 years old. Can you believe it's almost 2011. Wasn't it just 2000?

  1. I have been to your shops all right in that area. Yearly, Now our parents have passed & I would love to shop this was we live in OR.. Raised in Mt. Pleasant, Rodg. in Fairfield, after we married lived in Wash. IA. How ever the photo I have isn't my currant one. When Rodg had to switch this horrible Windows 8 to Chrome, seems everything changed. I truly, want to join this sight & if you ship, purchase as I stroll through. I always get the shop's there confused, But I think Rug Cottage was the 1st I discovered as we whiz by. Made hubby turn around.I am so into to prims as also Lana Teska's collection. I have been trying to find lighted canvas Christmas.& Heirloom Textile Throws, reversible cranberry, how ever its called Brick, but a very dark Brick.. Could you Pm me if these are available. Please as I am anxious to stroll through these shops. Thank you Looking forward to reply.
